![]() Tldr capping stats makes going for better gear not worth it, eventually wizards will fully maximize ALL their stats, which kills fun team strategy, as well as possibly removing the need for teams, which removes the what makes an MMO a MMO. With fully maximized stats, you'll see 1 of 2 things: either everyone who does everything themselves, or groups that stick with the alpha striking method in team play, except now all other utilities that make other schools unique nonexistent. You wouldn't even need to team up, or ask for help. Weakness spam? Shields? Healing? Those are all thrown out the window. Denso 221-3229 Radiator, Cute Pixel Stitch Drawstring Bag Sports Fitness Bag Travel Bag Gift Bag. Jade supports would be irrelevant, and they killed creative team strategy and utilities that each school could contribute. There would be no point in having a team to help you through tough bosses, either. Now the only reason pve exists is for story content, and once we finish a new world, then we log back off again and wait for the next world, spells, and level cap. Again, there would be no point in farming for better gear. Now imagine having those stats as a storm. #Caps wizard full#Imagine having 150 damage, full immunity, 9k+ health, 100% accuracy, power pip, pip conversion and shadow pip rating, 50% pierce (I say 50% because it can be fully maximized with shrike), and could block every critical. ![]() So what does that leave? Health, mana, which improving it becomes useless early on, resist if you're rocking an offensive set, block, pip conversion, pierce, and shadow pip rating. You don't need to keep chasing it to improve, and I prefer they don't go back to critical decay. People can easily achieve 100% PP at level 100, probably even before that (I'm not sure, I'm already at max level with all my gear farming complete). Once you build up that other stat to its fullest potential, where do you go from there? The next stat? Then what? At a certain point, you maximize all your stats completely, and there's no incentive to farm for better gear. What happens when you reach a limit to a stat? You start looking to build up other stats. Practically everyone was saying how they killed damage past 150 with the intersection point (which isn't necessarily true, but I've already explained that). We've already discussed how putting a limit to our stats makes going for a build pointless. I think capping damage and resist is stupid in pve (shocker, where have you heard this before?). ![]() Kingsisle has made good decisions (reverting critical, adding new spells, started following a DPP chart for all schools), and some bad ones as well, like the soft and hard caps to resist and damage in pve (I won't go into pvp, as I don't go anywhere near it). Wizard Spells by School As a Wizard, you gain the following Class Features. ![]()
